“GRAMPRABODHINI” is a platform for youngsters to collaborate over IDEAS and nourish an Innovative Culture. It is a Component oriented system which not only enables youngsters and youth to collaborate over ideas for self – employed business but for a business to survive the rest of life in good health and hygiene.

GRAMPRABODHINI work as social reform unit, which enables Rural and sub rural youth to gather quick, basic and in-depth knowledge of a self-employed business to start working. GRAMPRABODHINI also helps in getting Employment Information for Rural sector especially to SC/ST/OBC/NT/VJNT and minorities, but broadly it’s an open and equilateral platform giving each and every individual a good and equal opportunity by providing educational information, employment information, competitive examinations information, guidance, training, etc.

Search Foundation believes that “To serve the village is to serve the nation”. Gramprabodhini’s name itself indicates upbringing & upliftment of Gram that is Villages by providing “Prabodhini” that is guidance & training to the villagers.

Search Foundation established its “GRAMPRABODHINI” centre in 2002 at Korpana Tahsil place of Chandrapur District, of Maharashtra state, India. Korpana is a remote, tribal, Naxalite affected, educationally, culturally, economically backward area of Chandrapur district.

Bringing up children for education

• In rural and slum areas mostly children from illiterate families don’t go to school even at the primary level.
• Search Foundation started a mission to develop “Love for Education” among those children. For which it started a conceptual education centre with indoor and outdoor games facilities to pull the children towards these centres.
• There are now several such free informal Guidance programs running across the district conducted by Search Foundation which shows that the plan was a huge success.
• Initially, we reach out to rural areas, provide guidance to the parents, engage children into play, and then during a span of regular visits encourage them to go to school and study for a brighter future.

Free Career Counseling and Guidance:

We provide free career counselling for students of 1st to 12th std, Graduates & Post Graduate youths. Making them aware of various career opportunities and spreading awareness about various competitive exams.

Knowledge & Brain compatible education:

Making the students and youth aware of concepts like Aptitude Test, I.Q. & E.Q. tests for career needs.

Farmers’ Education:

To inculcate and encourage better planning of future for the farmers. Make them aware of social, cultural, financial values; advanced agricultural business and allied business.

Girls’ & Women’s Education:

Guiding women to collaborate and pursue development in their lives by ideas like SHG. Making them aware of educational and financial values. Taking steps to make them aware of Menstrual Hygiene Management, healthcare, birth control, etc.

Job Placements Services:

Collecting data from different platforms and available sources, and providing the youths with equal opportunity in securing jobs. Helping needy youths and women to secure jobs in possible ways.

Research:

Researching and observing the educational, social, cultural and financial values of Tribal people and downtrodden societies. This is to frame action plans which can be helpful for their upliftment.
